Saturday was the high school reunion for a friend of ours and a member of BN's Band. For kicks and exposure, the band played a set at the Reunion and rocked the house.
BN wanted me to videotape the gig and the boys wanted to see Daddy play. Normally, they would play in a bar scene and the boys never get to see him play live so this was a rare treat for them.
I love the idea for this reunion because it was at the beach, reunion members families were invited and it seemed like a lot of fun. We were only there for an hour, but the boys saw friends (from the band) and played and even managed to get raffle tickets! My little brother won!
It was funny because BN had finished packing up his drum set and we were all getting in the car when they called Uncle C's number. He went flying out of the parking lot, grabbed a prize and raced back to the car.
The other prize winners gave their tickets to the woman handing out the prizes and then turned to have a photo taken. He did none of that.
I think it would have been funny for him to have posed so they could look back at those photos and wonder who the hells kid that was.

Sounds like a good class reunion. We had one where there was a family picnic and Sirdar had one where they had that down at the river park where he used to live. It is nice when the families can participate and classmates can meet the families.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of class reunions... I think my 10 year HS reunion is coming up sometime next year. Should be pretty exciting catching up with old friends! :]
