  1. I was thinking I'd like to make some homemade toys for my nephew and (due in January) niece. I was wondering what I might be able to make with these wool sweaters I bought at Goodwill and started felting. (I don't remember exactly what the plan was for those!) I have no idea what I'm doing. One thing I will be making for sure is some pillows from Josh's old band T-shirts he no longer wears. He was going to put a few in the pile for Goodwill today, but then I told him they could be pillows for his VW bus. He really loved that idea, and I know it's one I can pull off.

  3. Jenni - That pillow idea is excellent; I'll have to remember that. I have no idea about felting but I'll try it one day.

  4. Ami - "notyouraveragehooker" HYSTERICAL. I'll look it up. I have a feeling the legs on mine might be a little big, but following a pattern. Hopefully, the rest will measure up.

  5. My stepmom made my youngest a sock monkey when he was born. It is so cute. I've considered giving it a try myself - but I'll just live precariously through you.
